Pura Vida Uplifting is the daytime tablet in the Pura Vida range. This is the practical guide: what's in it, when people take it, what it costs, and who shouldn't bother.
The basics

- Sold as: a box of 6 bottles — $65, or $10.83 a bottle
- Flavors: Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, Watermelon Mint
- Blend: six ingredients, five disclosed plus a proprietary blend
- 21+ only
What's in a tablet
Lab-verified amounts per serving, from FESA Labs sample D90060824-1 (25 August 2026):
- Lion's mane 203.58 mg — the ingredient the category is built on
- Bacopa monnieri 122.15 mg — a slow one, see below
- L-theanine 91.43 mg — the calm-alertness compound in green tea
- Rhodiola rosea 81.43 mg — studied mostly for fatigue
- Saffron 11.40 mg — the expensive one, always present in small amounts
- Uplifting proprietary blend — not disclosed by the manufacturer. We've asked, and we'll publish it when we have it.
When to take it
Morning, with food. Two reasons. Rhodiola can feel stimulating, so late-day use can affect sleep for some people. And bacopa is easier on the stomach with a meal — gastrointestinal upset is its most common complaint.
Start with one tablet and see how you respond before taking more. Five tablets in a bottle is not a suggested serving size; it's what fits in the bottle.
What to expect, honestly
L-theanine acts within an hour or two — if you notice anything on day one, that's the likeliest source. Rhodiola's fatigue effects in studies build over days. Bacopa takes 8 to 12 weeks in the research to show memory effects at all, which means a single bottle can't tell you whether bacopa works for you.
The amounts here sit below the doses used in clinical trials — 204 mg of lion's mane against studies using up to 3 g a day, 11 mg of saffron against 28–30 mg. That's normal for any multi-ingredient blend, and we lay out the full comparison in our article on what the research shows. Treat this as a daily botanical habit, not as five clinical doses in a tablet.
The flavors
Blue Raspberry, Strawberry and Watermelon Mint, priced identically, and all three are in stock. Watermelon Mint is the one that reads as least sweet. If you're buying a box of six, they're per-flavor — so pick the one you'll actually finish.
What's not in it
The same lab panel screened for kratom alkaloids and kavalactones. Mitragynine, 7-hydroxymitragynine and the full kratom panel came back non-detect, as did all kavalactones. That matters in a category where those ingredients turn up unannounced. Every number is on our lab results page.
Who should skip it
- Anyone under 21
- Pregnant or nursing
- Anyone on antidepressants — saffron and rhodiola have theoretical interactions; ask your doctor first
- Anyone wanting a single ingredient at a research dose. Buy a standalone standardised product instead — we don't sell one, and it's still the right answer
The rest of the range
Uplifting is the daytime one. Tranquil is the evening kava formula, and Calming is a joint comfort blend despite the name. Full comparison here.
